With an article directory one can not only increase their own knowledge but also help budding authors to provide one more platform for article publishing.

Starting a directory is not that difficult. Given a website one can solicit registration of websites or articles direct. One can start both a free version and a paid version of a directory. Free versions of these directories can easily be populated with Adsense or other sponsored links and used for earning money that way.
